Carter Tomberlin is an Atlanta-based actor with 8+ years of training. Drawn to character driven stories, his work centers on emotional truth, restraint, and the subtle shifts in behavior that emerge under pressure.​

 

​He has appeared in a range of independent short films spanning drama, comedy, horror, and satire, including Speak Up Valedictorian! (2024), Cold Feet (2024), Panic (2024), and The Doppelgänger (2024). Additional projects—Bound by Me, Frosted Glass, and  Through Jonah's Eyes—are slated for release in 2026.

 

In addition to acting, Tomberlin is a filmmaker and writer that serves as the Director of Operations for Moon Horizon Productions.  His work behind the camera has deepened his collaborative instincts and refined his understanding of story, tone, and spatial dynamics, naturally leading him into the development of his first short film, The Applicant.
